Romanian and Arabic do not sound similar. Although Romania is in Eastern Europe, Romanian is one of the "romance" languages https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romance_languages
The only other language it reminds me of is Portuguese, but it doesn't take long to differentiate the two. Every time I look for Radio Satelor 153 they seem to be having issues.
