Hi Sam. I agree 100% with you. I have some more listening results to share regarding Romania and Algeria on 153 kHz. I have been hearing the test carrier from Algeria most nights here but w/o modulation. 95% of the time before they went into this repair mode their modulation was super low anyway but now with them running low power it is impossible for me to hear any modulation. Now as far as Romania, they are coming on the air each day starting with 6 minutes of a 1 kHz tone right before 11 PM EDST. I stated 10 minutes in an earlier post but it's 6 minutes. Then at 04:00z is when they start with normal TOH beeps and normal programming. But that 6 minutes prior to 04:00z is a perfect time to listen for their 1 kHz solid test tone. I have yet to hear it here in the Midwest. 73 Gedas W8BYA
