Ed, I purchased the CP666 FET from Crystalonics last December. I also purchased the Amrad circuit board(s) from Far Circuits in January. The biggest issue in building that old design is finding thru-the-hole parts to fit the board. My first test of the probe showed a constant current draw that the bias would not adjust. No signals out of the probe. With the disappointment of spending a fair amount of money on this project and it not working, I set it aside. If I didn't destroy the FET in the initial build, I wanted to be in a better frame of mind to troubleshoot. This project is still on hold. Mike N8OOU 73
