Hi John,

This seems to me to be a good proposal. There is definitely "ephemeral" content that is relevant day to day. Then again, it would be good to have a place for longer discussions on technology, history, receivers and transmitters, homebrew and similar items that hold longer term and reference value.

Authenticated author methods are a good, and fairly gentle way of managing contributions to any board/forum.
