Hiya Marcy. Last night the band was quite hot at least here into the Midwest. All frequencies were lit up. I would imagine east of me was only better. 252 kHz was really cooking and I made some recordings. This is just my opinion but I think if you are hearing modulation on 209 kHz from Mongolia then 252 kHz would have to be screaming in your ear. I just do not see how you could hear the much further and weaker station and not one that is much closer with more ERP and well heard most evenings. But truth be told I really hope you are hearing Mongolia on LW as that gives me hope :-) I have yet to see even a trace of a carrier on that frequency. 73 Gedas W8BYA
