In the times that I lived near San Antonio I was not exposed to these types of signals. I assumed that power companies were using broadband signals but I was wrong. In the area I lived in I did see fairly broadband signals but really had no way of knowing where they came from. I live about 1/4 mile from a large 230 KV power line. I am about 3 miles from a very large substation. The communications I am seeing is up to 7 channels. Thus far I have found no period of time that says they come on a regular basis. The fact that only one has any modulation doesn't make a lot of sense to me but maybe these 7 channels are for the one substation. I will understand this better as time goes on. I spent 43 years in high level instrumentation and control. I started out in life working with communications equipment and never really got away from it. I will make some sense of it. It just looks like 6 statuses and 1 analog value. I will announce what I find. You live in Indiana correct? I have two sisters in Evansville.
