Thanks, Gedas. Indeed, I also heard BBC R4 198 kHz coming in clearly last night. Also, all 3 of the utility stations that you guys were discussing in a recent post:

DCF49, 129.1 kHz
HGA22, 135.6 kHz
DCF39, 139.0 kHz

I usually can hear the 2 German stations DCF49 and DCF39 easily enough, but only very rarely hear the Hungarian HGA22, so again it was particularly good propagation last night. Re these 3 stations, perhaps you have some insights. The frequencies just listed are those found online from many sources. As you know these stations have a repeating audible cycle of about 8 seconds carrier (which may or may not be phase modulated, my ears can’t tell) followed by about 2 seconds of what I’ll call “hash.” However, the carriers for all 3 of these are consistently 0.18 kHz below the listed frequencies. So the frequencies I measure with the carriers are 128.92, 235.42, and 138.82 kHz, respectively. I noticed the 85 Hz “sidebands” in your visual trace for one of them you posted a few days ago, and it occurred to me that 2 x 85 Hz is 0.17 kHz, pretty close to the 0.18 kHz total offset I measure. With your visual trace capability, do you have any insights into the formatting of signals from these 3 stations?

Again it was great LW propagation last night. We’ll see how it is tonight. These days of good wintertime LW propagation won’t last forever, but some fun to be had while they’re with us.

73 to all, Bruce WA1HGJ
