Not sure what's happening, Marcy, although I agree that 171 kHz Morocco usually booms in big here N of Boston, although often I can only hear the carrier, under-modulated as (I believe) Gedas pointed out. But, the last several days we've also been having strong solar storms which may have also affected LW transatlantic propagation. Let's see how 171 behaves in the coming days as solar activity returns to more normal levels. Right now Kp levels are less than 3 which is pretty "normal." GL LW DX es 73, Bruce WA1HGJ
