Hi LWCA, A few technical difficulties and power outages have made PVC a little unreliable of late. As of yesterday, I reset the signal generator and restarted the keyer. PVC is back on at 7 wpm. Long story - I had a small ups that would keep the keyer and generator awake through a power cut, but it's battery died. The keyer won't restart in beacon mode, although it does hold the message. Some day I'll rationalise this and tidy up the messy wiring... 73, Ed KO6BLM
