I got in touch with the channel owner, Klaus, and pointed him to LWCA. Nice chap. He was grateful for your comments, and mentioned the following things to me:

1) He's trying to introduce basic working ideas before getting too deep into theory to build enthusiasm for simple ideas that work, then plans to go deeper into the why and wherefore.

2) Translation can be tricky - and his English is better than our German :-)

3) He's interested in developing things further and working on more trials.

I agree this is a sensible approach to antennas and VLF, not touting magic, just sound practices. Ringing in my ears is the declaration from somewhere "Magnetic loop" antennas are not magnetic - at least no more than more conventional designs based on quarter and half wave resonances. Anyhow, there is some fertile ground here for modern VLF practice with SDRs, and even sound card reception.
