Robert, thanks for the tip to look for the other modes also. I was under the impression though, that these modes were optimized for lf more than hf. That they would work, but they didn't match well with the characteristics of Hf. That other modes, more tailored to HF's peculiarities would fare better at low power levels. Maybe others more knowledgeable than I will chime in and clear things up. Ray ... N. Central Texas
