Translated from Polish:This coming Thursday and Friday – November 7 and 8 this year – you will not be able to listen to the First Program of Polish Radio on long waves, on the frequency of 225 kHz. The planned maintenance break of the facility in Solec Kujawski will last on these days from 8:05 to 18:00. During this time, you will be able to listen to the First Program in Poland on VHF frequencies and in the DAB+ system.
The First Programme of Polish Radio has been broadcast on long waves since December 1926, with a break for World War II and the post-war period. Before it was on 225 kHz, it was present on 270 kHz, 212 kHz, 224 kHz and 227 kHz, among others. It has been broadcast from masts in Solec Kujawski since 1999. Previously, facilities in Fort Mokotów (1926-1931), Łazy near Raszyn (1931-1939, 1949-1974, 1991-1999) and Konstantynów near Gąbin (1974-1991) were used for broadcasting.
