I received a pleasant surpise this morning at 1155z Oct 14, 2024. Overnight, I had wspr2 and FST4W-300 decoding on the 2200m band. Noted in the FST4W-300 decodes after waking in the morning were stations VK4YB and VK6MJM (located in western Australia). These stations are 13250 and 16823 km distance from this qth respectively. Station KM5SW in New Mexico also copied decodes from both stations. I'm wondering if the 16823 km copy of VK6MJM to this N. Central Texas qth might be a one-way distance record for the 2200m band, as of this date? Who knows. :-) Ray ... swlem3 ... N. Central Texas
