I just wanted to make sure I’m correctly estimating output power. First I make sure my antenna SWR is decent, < 1.3, then look at the voltage wave on the o-scope when the output stage is connected to the antenna and running, so deflection from zero to peak of waveform is Vpk.
Vpk / 1.4142 = Vrms
Vrms / 50 = Irms
Irms squared times 50 = output power.
