Interesting Question Bob, and something that interests me as I consider expanding operations. The QRPLabs QMX looks intriguing. www.qrp-labs.com/qmx.html It offers 5 (Ham) Bands, and it is specifically designed for CW and a subset of digital modes. Instead of SSB, it uses single signal, so PSK31 is not possible. From what you wrote, it may be that you have already dismissed it, but it's mentioned here for interest of others. (BTW I'm not connected with QRP Labs in any way) Ed
