Activated lowfer SIW today at EN51uq. Schedule is same as last year: M,W,F 185.185 kHz, wspr15, opera32, visual "siw", CW ID hourly; Tu,Th,Sa,Su 185.2993 kHz alternating "siw" between QRSS30 and QRSS60. Mode switch is around 1800Z each day. The kiwisdr receivers available through the internet are generally a pretty sorry bunch, at least for LF. Nonetheless I decoded SIW this evening at 92 miles using the KD9KHZ receiver in Wisconsin. The Edinburgh, IN receiver is much more sensitive but hardly ever available. I have recently copied and reported here lowfers WM and TAG around the 185.3 kHz watering hole and EAR at 188.830 kHz using various nearby kiwisdr receivers.
