Having been unable to listen from my own farm lately, I tried the Tustin, MI, Kiwi SDR today too, around mid-afternoon, and was pleased to hear RVA at fair level, and almost WAS. I say "almost" because I couldn't set a reasonable CW bandwidth on the remote receiver, and was stuck between using the default 60 Hz or the extra wide USB mode. The former required more sheer luck in tuning than I seemed to have during the time available, while the wasteful SSB bandwidth had WAS down in the noise. I'll have to get more practice on Kiwis until such time as I can resume DXing from my own QTH.
