Hi Mike,

Thanks - I've done a bit of background reading on the subject in the past, and spent some time attempting to dig in to the origins after some discussions with our webmaster here at LWCA. So, I was simply interested in your specific methods.

My antennas are all transformer coupled and use true "voltage" baluns or ununs having separate isolated primary and secondary windings. I've tested a few configurations including using small binocular cores, and larger beads, per my recent testing to achieve better reception at LF.

It is quite alarming to see just how much QRM can be introduced by one's own feed-line, if common mode isolation is not managed carefully. Conversely, it is quite simple to prevent, with a little knowledge and effort.
