Bob, I monitored 518 kHz Navtex over night from NE IL. Big storms made for noisy conditions but plenty of decodes came through anyway, including Puerto Rico. I didn't notice anything around 518.6 kHz but did see a weak waterfall indication of something wide band on the mark frequency. There is a Canadian HD radio station that has a wide, flat spectrum that can impact Navtex reception here but it was under the noise last night.
