A house? Looks plausible. My first thought upon seeing it was a backward-pointing arrow, but that seemed kind of contrary to the spirit of a New Year greeting. :) It is scientifically established that humans have hard-wired proclivities to see faces in random shapes and shadows and other patterns, whether they are there or not. Rapid facial recognition had survival value in primitive times, but nowadays it mainly functions as a way to see Elvis on our breakfast toast.
