Should add that the smiley face sequence starts transmission about 5 seconds before before minute 2 and ends about 15 secs later. I'm eyeballing it but 15-20 second transmission time appears to the ballpark figure. Have to go back through my 22m QRSS images and see when I started picking it up. It does brighten up the day along with the 20m SSTV images celebrating the New Year. My AirSpy HF+ and SDR Console are doing a nice job. I use three VAC and virtual windows to copy 22m QRSS, 20m FT8 and 20m SSTV signals simultaneously. I did some more testing and the IC-7300 just barely beats the Airspy (the IC-7300 locks onto the SSTV sync signal faster for some reason). Otherwise, the Airspy has better MDS than the RSPduo and RX-888 Mk II, and the RX-888 Mk II tops the RSPduo. The only think than I really find problematic with the Airspy is that puny micro-USB jack. If the micro-USB male doesn't make a 100% proper contact it buggers up the signal going to the computer. It's very sensitive and I'd rather have a mini-USB. I'm probably going to have do some surgery on it sooner or later because micro-USB and I don't get along. The cables are also flimsy as compared to mini-USB and standard USB cables and connectors. IMHO. 73.
