No superhero connotations intended! This FLASH is a newsletter connecting dedicated low power radio experimenters with those hardy souls who regularly monitor such tansmissions.

FLASH is not actually a Longwave Club of America publication, but was created to provide continuity of timely information on LowFER and HiFER beacons, plus LF amateur radio topics, now that LWCA's LOWDOWN is no longer published monthly.

Content typically includes versions of the LowFER and HiFER lists updated to the same morning the issue is mailed; the full Operator Contact List; and the Proceedings of the 75 Meter LowFER Net, a popular and informative summary of the weekly ham net devoted to longwave related matters.

Ypu'll also find news items about special LF/VLF listening opportunities, propagation trends, new products, etc.; occassional visits from Dr./Mr. Answer Guy, our resident sugar-free, non-dairy, mostly odorless and/or tasteless 'good humor man'; and in coming issues, more technical articles and product reviews.

FLASH has been available free upon request in printed form since May of 2020 to LWCA members and anyone else who heard about it through word of mouth; and in PDF form to LWCA members only.

Currently, no new print subscriptions are being accepted, as we can only reliably produce a limited press run for now. However, free PDF subscriptions are still available to any LWCA member upon request! (See below.)

When supply issues are eventually resolved and subscription rates can be finalized (late summer 2022, we hope!), there will likely be one rate for printed copies in the US, another for issues mailed to Canada or Mexico, and a rate for electronic (PDF) copies world-wide to non-members. Readers who submit usable articles for publication will receive additional time added to their subscriptions.
